Strengthening DeFi Security: Olympix Integrates with Areta’s Marketplace to Bring Proactive Security Tools to the UF Security Fund
We're excited to announce a significant milestone in decentralized finance security: Olympix has been selected as a provider of the Uniswap Foundation Security Fund (UFSF), managed by Areta. This collaboration aims to prevent vulnerabilities before they reach the audit stage and save on costs, time, etc.
The Security Challenge
90% of exploited smart contracts had been audited at least once. The problem isn't with audits themselves, but with the security model that relies solely on post-development reviews. Teams often enter audits with low test coverage, unresolved vulnerabilities, and insecure code patterns, creating longer remediation cycles and higher risk of missed vulnerabilities.
A New Security Paradigm
Through this integration, Uniswap Foundation builders will gain access to Olympix's comprehensive suite of proactive security tools through Areta’s marketplace, designed to catch and resolve vulnerabilities during development
What Uniswap Foundation Grantees Receive:
Full Suite Access: Six months of unlimited usage of all Olympix tooling for select projects
Full Suite Access: Six months of unlimited usage of all Olympix tooling for select projects
Static Analysis: Continuous vulnerability detection during development that outperforms alternatives like Slither with deeper code traversal and higher accuracy
AI-Powered Test Generation: Automatically generates comprehensive unit test suites, increasing coverage while saving developer time
Mutation Testing: Goes beyond line coverage to find logical coverage gaps, improving audit preparedness and code robustness
Fuzzing with Formal Verification: Hybrid approach that uncovers deep vulnerabilities across execution paths
Internal Audit Agent: Not an LLM wrapper - leverages the proprietary Olympix engine + fine-tuned AI agents to automatically generate proof-of-concepts for discovered vulnerabilities, helping developers quickly reproduce and fix issues
Enterprise Support: 24/7 customer support and white-glove onboarding for teams leveraging the full suite
Transforming the Security Lifecycle
This integration enables a new security lifecycle for Uniswap ecosystem projects:
Continuous Development: Developers identify and fix vulnerabilities as they code
Audit Readiness: Teams ensure vulnerabilities are resolved and test coverage is comprehensive before external audit
Pre-Deployment: Final validation that fixes are effective and no new issues remain
Enhanced Audits: Auditors focus on sophisticated vulnerabilities with fewer findings and higher confidence
The result is faster shipping, stronger security, and reduced reliance on costly audit cycles.
Strategic Investment in Ecosystem Security
"This integration represents more than just tooling access," said Channi Greenwall, CEO of Olympix. "It's an investment in raising the security baseline across the entire Uniswap ecosystem. When builders can resolve critical vulnerabilities before audit, everyone benefits—developers ship faster, auditors can focus on complex edge cases, and users interact with more secure protocols."
The Uniswap Foundation's commitment to comprehensive security through both proactive tools and traditional audits sets a new standard for how DeFi ecosystems should approach protocol security.
Looking Forward
This integration comes at a critical time for DeFi security. As the ecosystem matures and handles increasing value, the cost of security failures, both financial and reputational, continues to rise. By providing builders with enterprise-grade security tools from day one, the Uniswap Foundation is supporting builders in Web3 safety and responsible innovation.
For Uniswap Foundation grantees, this means access to the same security infrastructure used by industry-trusted DeFi protocols, with the support needed to integrate these tools effectively into real-world development workflows.
The future of DeFi security isn't just about better audits; it's about preventing vulnerabilities from reaching production in the first place. The integration between Olympix and the Uniswap Foundation Security Fund (UFSF), managed by Areta represents a significant step toward that future.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Follow-up: Conduct a follow-up review to ensure that the remediation steps were effective and that the smart contract is now secure.

Hacks Analysis
Huobi | Amount Lost: $8M
On September 24th, the Huobi Global exploit on the Ethereum Mainnet resulted in a $8 million loss due to the compromise of private keys. The attacker executed the attack in a single transaction by sending 4,999 ETH to a malicious contract. The attacker then created a second malicious contract and transferred 1,001 ETH to this new contract. Huobi has since confirmed that they have identified the attacker and has extended an offer of a 5% white hat bounty reward if the funds are returned to the exchange.
